McT Movie Night
Friday, October 9th, 5:30PM
We are looking forward to our annual community movie night! Join us on the turf track on the playground for an evening movie (Kids choice! Vote at the RSVP link below). Starting at 5:30PM, we‘ll have pizza, snacks and drinks available for purchase as well as the HipPOP truck selling gelato bars! You’re also welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Blankets are encouraged. If you decide to bring chairs, please plan to set up near the back. The movie is scheduled to start at 6:30PM.
New! Sensory-Friendly Viewing Area. This year, the ECE/Kinder Playground will offer a quieter, calmer space to enjoy the movie, designed with our sensory-sensitive families in mind. All are welcome. Please help us keep it peaceful by reminding your kids to be respectful of this space; if kids want to run and play, they should be out on the larger playground. Many of our MIA kids engage in stimming behaviors. This might look like spinning, hand-flapping, vocalizations, etc. Please note that all of this will be welcome in this area.

Kindergarten & New Family Walks to Wash Park
Thursday October 15th, and Friday November 13th
Erin and Lucy (your PTA president + VP) will be hosting three casual morning walks on the dates above so you can meet other new families and learn what the PTA is all about. The plan is to walk over and around Wash Park and back - join for as much or as little work for you! (And existing McT families are of course welcome, too!) Meet right after drop-off at 7:30AM at the pergola on the playground.

Celebratory Snacks - Popcorn, cotton candy, and birthday cake
A Time Capsule Experience - See the memories school has built and & witness the live burying ceremony
Carnival Games - Test your skills at cornhole, piñata, and family fun
Quiet Zone - Mindful activities & exploration in the library for all sensory needs
Parent Connection Lounge - Relax and connect with our community
